**Potres magnitude 7,8 pogodio je rano jutros južnu Tursku. Prema prvim podacima, osjetio se u velikom dijelu zemlje, kao i u nekoliko zemalja u regiji, uključujući susjednu Siriju.**

Prema američkom seizmološkom zavodu USGS, katastrofalan potres magnitude 7,8 se dogodio u 04:17 sati po lokalnom vremenu na dubini od približno 17,9 kilometara. Više od 300 ljudi poginulo je u Turskoj i Siriji, a strahuje se da bi broj mrtvih u narednim satima mogao dodatno narasti.

Prema američkom seizmološkom zavodu USGS, katastrofalan potres magnitude 7.8 se dogodio u 04:17 sati po lokalnom vremenu na dubini od približno 17.9 kilometara.

Strahuje se da bi broj žrtava mogao biti puno veći jer je potres većinu ljudi zatekao na spavanju.

Objavio je i da su obustavljeni letovi s aerodroma Hayat u južnom dijelu zemlje, u blizini granice sa Sirijom.

Epicentar potresa bio je u okrugu Pazarcik, u pokrajini Kahramanmaras na jugoistoku zemlje, oko 60 km zračne linije od sirijske granice.

### Seizmolog: "Ovo bi mogao biti najjači potres zabilježen u Turskoj"

Tursko-sirijsku obalu poslije potresa pogodio je Tsunami, a talijanska civilna zaštita povukla je upozorenje na mogući tsunami nakon jakog potresa u Turskoj rano jutros.

### Više od 100 mrtvih u Siriji!

Sirijsko ministarstvo zdravstva objavilo je da je u ovoj zemlji više od stotinu poginulih. U izjavi navode: "516 ozlijeđenih i 111 mrtvih u provincijama Alep, Latakija, Hama i Tart."

Nije lako doći do pogođenih područja. U Gaziantepu je također snježna oluja, u Karamanmarasu kiša. Ljudi stoje vani i boje se vratiti u svoje zgrade", navode.
