# Strašni požari u Los Angelesu usmrtili najmanje 5 osoba: "Evakuirano 100 tisuća građana!"

**Uništeno je na stotine domova i iscrpljeni su resursi za gašenje požara i zalihe vode do krajnjih granica.**

Jaki vjetrovi ometaju operacije gašenja požara i raspiruju požare koji neometano bukte otkako su izbili,a vatra je zahvatila i Hollywood Hills. 

\- Suočavamo se s povijesnom prirodnom katastrofom. I mislim da se to ne može dovoljno snažno izjaviti - rekao je Kevin McGowan, direktor upravljanja hitnim situacijama za okrug Los Angeles, na konferenciji za novinare.

Legendarni Sunset Boulevard u Los Angelesu ostao je u ruševinama nakon požara u Pacific Palisadesu, navode očevici, a glavna prometnica koja prolazi kroz Beverly Hills i West Hollywood izgledala je kao da je eksplodirala bomba, javlja [Los Angeles Times.](https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-01-08/fire-weather-fierce-winds-los-angeles?ref=morski.hr)
