# Strahovit potres od 7.7 po Richteru u Mjanmaru (Burmi), srušeni neboderi, zgrade, mostovi i u Tajlandu...

**Snažan potres pogodio je središnji Mjanmar (nekadašnju Burmu) u petak, a ljudi su u panici izjurili iz zgrada u Yangonu i Bangkoku, glavnom gradu susjednog Tajlanda, rekli su svjedoci.**

Geološki zavod Sjedinjenih Država (USGS) objavio je da je potres bio magnitude 7,7 i na dubini od 10 kilometara. Nakon toga uslijedio je snažan naknadni potres.

Epicentar je bio oko 17.2 kilometra od grada Mandalaya, koji ima oko 1.2 milijuna stanovnika. Oko 12 minuta nakon prvog potresa, područje je pogodio i drugi snažan naknadni potres jačine 6.4 stupnja.
