# Snažan potres u istočnom Sredozemlju: “Dugo je trajao, sve se pomicalo”

**Potres jačine 5.4 stupnja po Richteru zatresao je Grčku i Tursku u nedjelju u 19 sati i 59 minuta. Za sad nema informacija o šteti ili žrtvama.**

Potres je zabilježen 66 km južno od otoka Karpathosa na dubini od deset kilometara, piše EMSC, a osjetio se na otocima Kreti, Karpathos, Kasos, Rodos i Santorini, prenose grčki mediji.

Na stranici EMSC-a javljali su se svjedoci potresa.

– Dugo je trajao, sve se pomicalo.

– Jako se zatreslo – neki su od komentara.

Potresi ove jačine nisu neuobičajeni za Grčku, koja je blizu spoja afričke i euroazijske tektonske ploče. Tijekom dana to je područje osjetilo više jačih podrhtavanja.

Podsjetimo, i jučer je potres magnitude 4,1 po Richteru udario i Kretu, nešto manje od 30 kilometara od grada Herakliona
