# Novi Zeland pogodili najjači vjetrovi u 10 godina: "Letovi otkazani, trajekti ne voze!"

**Letovi su otkazani, škole zatvorene, a glavni grad Novog Zelanda Wellington tuku najjači vjetrovi u posljednjih deset godina javlja** [**ABC**](https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-05-01/wellington-new-zealand-hit-by-big-winds/105238788?ref=morski.hr)**.**

Prosječne brzine vjetra dosegle su i do 87 kilometara na sat u Wellingtonu, što je najveća brzina od 2013., dok su udari vjetra južno od glavnog grada u obalnom Baring Headu dosegli 160 kilometara na sat, priopćila je vladina meteorološka služba.

U Wellingtonu je izdano najviše moguće, crveno upozorenje na vjetar, valovi prelijevaju obalne ceste, građani se pozivaju da ostanu u kućama, trajektna linija između Sjevernog i Južnog otoka obustavljena je, jake kiše uzrokuju i brojne poplave.
