# Mlada djevojka pronađena mrtva na otoku nedaleko od olupine broda: "Bila je okružena čoporom"

**Devetnaestogodišnja kanadska turistkinja Piper James, koja je putovala Australijom, pronađena je mrtva u ponedjeljak na plaži otoka K'gari, poznatog i kao Fraser Island.** 

Tijelo je pronađeno okruženo čoporom dinga u blizini olupine broda Maheno. Policija istražuje okolnosti smrti, piše Guardian.

Policija Queenslanda istražuje je li se djevojka utopila u opasnim vodama uz istočne plaže otoka, jesu li je usmrtili divlji psi ili postoje drugi uzroci smrti.

Piper je posljednji put viđena živa u ponedjeljak oko 5 sati ujutro, kada je prijateljima u hostelu rekla da ide na plažu. Putovala je s prijateljicom iz Kanade.
